Drumgauty Cottage - Strabane

I had a wonderful stay at Drumgauty Cottage! The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, and I especially loved that there was free tea and coffee provided in the bedrooms. The host was helpful and responsive, making the check-in process easy. The location was great, with easy access to Derry town and plenty of dining options nearby. I also appreciated having parking available on the premises. it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay here again.

The only minor drawbacks were that the road leading to the hotel was not well illuminated, making it a bit challenging to find the entrance at night. I would have liked clearer instructions on identifying food items provided by the host versus those belonging to other guests, as there was only one small fridge for multiple sets of guests.

Even though I didn't meet the host in person, their helpfulness and prompt communication were fantastic during check-in. The location was great for exploring nearby Derry town by car, with plenty of dining options. The friendly welcome and provision of basic provisions like bread, milk, and cereal were a pleasant surprise. The well-equipped kitchen and the cozy seating area made it feel like a home away from home. Plus, the free wi-fi, shared kitchen, leisure/TV room, and board games added to the overall value. And let's not forget, the no smoking policy on site was a breath of fresh air. All in all, I had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay at Drumgauty Cottage.

The location was convenient, great to explore nearby attractions easily. we highly recommend Drumgauty Cottage for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The only drawback we encountered was the lack of clear signage for the entrance, especially at night. this was a minor inconvenience and did not overshadow our overall positive experience.
